Vanessa has supported artists such as Xavier Rudd, Deborah Conway, John Butler and Things of Stone and Wood.
She has performed in many venues in Perth, Sydney, Brisbane, the Gold Coast and the Northern NSW areas since 1996. These include pubs, clubs, restaurants, cafes, cocktail lounges and RSL’s such as The Great Northern Hotel Byron Bay, Surfers Paradise Beer Garden, Satchmos, Brisbane West End, The Vanguard Theatre Newtown Sydney, Marackville RSL Sydney, Paramatta Leagues Club, The Empire in Enmore Sydney, Metropolis Nightclubs Perth and Fremantle, The Fly By Night Club Fremantle.
She is a prolific producer of music in all genres from folk/pop, blues n roots, to electronica, ambient, meditation and sound healing with dance world fusion grooves.
Vanessa has recorded several CD’s most notably “Find Your Own Way” a fully produced radio quality studio album recorded at Top Cat Recording Studios. The CD features the talents of Greg Sheehan, one of Australia’s most highly acclaimed percussionists, on drums.
She earned herself a place on the Foghorn Media release Home Grown Roots Volume 1 in store Jul 17th 2006 with the title Track “Find Your Own Way” which has been played on Tripple JJJ and has had nationwide distribution.
Vanessa is a vocal tutor of all ages and had a residency at the Northern Rivers Conservatorium and Arts Center
Vanessa tutored private students in Sydney Australia throughout 2006 – 2008, and has published a book called “Learn To Sing in a Clear and Powerful Way” with an accompanying CD in 2007.
Vanessa’s music reaches all from the middle of the road to the outer fringes with her unique sound.
In 2012 Vanessa graduated from the Queensland Conservatorium and Griffith University with a Bachelor of Popular Music. Here she produced several new CD’s and remasters yet to be released .
She also plays solo shows of warm acoustic jazz, blues, rock, pop, as well as original material too. Hoffman’s angelic vocals and rhythmic guitar keeps a smile on your face and your toes tapping. Her sounds are suitable for lounge cocktail bars, resteraunts, clubs, pubs, and all private special occasions.
Vanessa collaborates often with other artists in the production of her work.
She has a new CD project with Rachelle Charman and Crystal Awakening available through Rock Pool Publishing soon.
Greg Sheehan, a highly renown percussionist played on her “Find Your Own Way” release, with a collaboration of other fantastic musicians from Northern NSW.
She has worked with Ashana Angel in the production of a guided Angel meditation sound work.
Chris Barnaby, a world renowned Multi-Media artist, created a sound and animation film clip to Vanessa Hoffman’s composition “Crossing The Abyss”.
